How to choose
A retailer list can help a manufacturer identify possible stockists. A company report can help a buyer understand a potential supplier. A SWOT report is useful when you need to weigh a business against its market conditions. A Country Profile covers the economy, population, trade and business environment of a country. These are different tasks; the largest file is not always the best answer.

What the information can—and cannot—tell you
Business details change. A row may represent a location rather than a separate company, and some contact fields may be unavailable. Check names, domains and addresses before importing records or making an important decision.
Public companies usually disclose more than private businesses. Missing revenue, ownership or employee figures should remain identified as gaps, not be presented as confirmed facts. Our research standards explain how to read sources and limitations.
